Technology Services Board Meeting to be held on December 16, 2010

The Technology Services Board (TSB) of the Office of Technology Services (OTech) will hold a public meeting on Thursday, December 16, 2010, at 2 p.m., at the Office of the State Chief Information Officer, located at 1325 J Street, 16th Floor, in Sacramento.
The agenda includes a state information technology (IT) update, presented by the TSB Chairperson, Christy Quinlan, Interim State Chief Information Officer. Public participation, comments and questions will be welcome for each agenda item. The agenda is available online at: http://www.otech.ca.gov/tsb/tsb.asp.
The TSB provides oversight and guidance to the OTech, helping to ensure its services meet customer needs. It is comprised of 13 members and includes the State Chief Information Officer as the Chair, the Director of Finance as Vice-Chair, the State Controller, the Director of the California Emergency Management Agency and the Secretaries of the Environmental Protection Agency, Health and Human Services Agency, Labor and Workforce Development Agency, Natural Resources Agency, State and Consumer Services Agency, Department of Veterans Affairs and Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
The OTech provides IT services to state, federal and local government entities throughout California. Through the use of a scalable, reliable and secure statewide network, combined with expertise in voice and data technologies, the OTech delivers comprehensive, cost-effective computing, networking, electronic messaging and training solutions to benefit the people of California.
