Deliverables

The California Association of Information Technology Managers (CAITM) exists as a commitment from the Information Technology Managers' Academy (ITMA) IX to make a difference in State government, promote networking among State IT professionals, and to leave a sustainable legacy for future ITMA classes.

CAITM is designed to promote and enhance communication and networking opportunities for information technology managers in State service, for the benefit of its members and the State of California. To this extent, ITMA IX created the association to:

  • Provide a forum for sharing ideas and experiences among State IT managers; and
  • Establish, operate and maintain a forum to sustain the essence of the Information Technology Managers' Academy; an educational program designed to promote the professional development and growth of the State's Information Technology leaders.

In 2002, the CAITM Board and members established the following Mission and Vision statements. CAITM was also officially incorporated with the State of California as a non-profit mutual benefit corporation.
