Technology Services Board Meeting to be Held on February 28, 2011 in Sacramento
Proposed Rate Reductions Total $17.4 Million Through 2012

The Technology Services Board (TSB) of the Office of Technology Services (OTech) will hold a public meeting on Monday, February 28, 2011, at 2 p.m., at the Byron Sher Auditorium of the Environmental Protection Agency, at 1001 I Street, in Sacramento. The meeting will be webcast live and may be accessed from the "What's New" section of OTech's website at: http://www.otech.ca.gov.
The agenda includes the OTech Mid-Year Rate Package for Fiscal Year (FY) 2010-11, the Annual Financial Audit Report for FY 2009-10, and updates on the state's Technology Infrastructure Consolidation Program, Service Improvement Program, and the Cannery Relocation.
If approved, the proposed Mid-Year Rate Package will save OTech customers $4.4 million in FY 2010-11 and $13 million in FY 2011-12. These savings are in addition more than $75 million in rate reductions for customers in the last 5 years.

The TSB provides oversight and guidance to OTech, helping to ensure its services meet customer needs. It is comprised of 13 members and includes the Secretary of California Technology as the Chair, the Director of Finance as Vice-Chair, the State Controller, the Director of the California Emergency Management Agency and the Secretaries of the Department of Food and Agriculture; Business, Transportation and Housing Agency; Environmental Protection Agency; Health and Human Services Agency; Labor and Workforce Development Agency; Natural Resources Agency; State and Consumer Services Agency; Department of Veterans Affairs; and Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
